Introduction

There is so little room on the front of an invitation. That's what ultimately caused us to create this small page for our wedding; the simple fact that we could not put all of the information that we wanted to distribute on the front of an invitation without having to put it on a blueprint-sized paper (which I found to be cool, but Ger will not let me do). So that brings us here, where you can find information about the wedding, maps, registries, links, and "stuff".

I still think that blueprint invites would have been cooler. I'm just saying.

Guest List

When this whole process began, we wanted to have a huge wedding where all of our friends and family could come and share this important time with us. Then we found out what that costs. I decided that we should have a four person wedding and eat at Taco Bell, but Ger overruled me and requested firmly that Taco Bell not be part of the process.

In all seriousness, we would prefer to have everyone that wants to come there, but with us having to manage this financially (and really, to have the wedding you want, you have to finance it yourself) it just is not feasible. So we arrived at what we hope is a clever plan: we have the wedding at the same hotel as Penguicon on opening day before it starts with a private ceremony and reception, then open the reception up to everybody after the initial food and festivities. Our glee was only magnified by the ability to have a convention that is very important to us (it is, after all, where we first met) as part of our special day.

In short, we think it will work out for the best this way. That or it will all end in catastrophe. Definitely one of the two, though.
